Tanzanite, December's rarer birthstone, is found in only one place on earth — a small area in northern Tanzania at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Its rich violet-blue is associated with transformation, spiritual clarity and the ability to see situations with fresh eyes. It's a young gem compared to the others on this list (only discovered in 1967), but its presence is unmistakable.

Worn on its own, the ring becomes a quiet signature. Stack it with a plain band above or a second stone on an adjacent finger and it reads as more deliberate and personal. The low profile means it sits comfortably under gloves and won't catch on sleeves or scarves.

The Timeless Essence ring collection is built on plated stainless steel — 18K gold plating on the Yellow Gold and Rose Gold colourways and rhodium plating on White Gold — and set with lab-grown synthetic gemstones. Stainless steel is harder than silver and holds its form under daily wear, which makes these rings a practical choice for everyday stacking as well as a considered gift.
